Awesome Perspective
Ive always loved the thrill and action of gunships and dropships in sci-fi properties. LAAT’s or Cheyenne’s hot dropping troops and blasting away at enemies with withering firepower. But I really doubted I’d ever get to see a story from the perspective of a dropship pilot, no matter how cool they were to me. It was always gonna be fighter pilots taking all the glory (and books.)
If you’re like me, you’re in luck.
When I saw there was a Warhammer book based around this concept I was super intrigued and I have to say it met all my expectations. Very brutal story that doesn’t hold punches and is exhilarating in its combat and drops. Loved it. Love to see creative and fresh perspectives explored like this. It’s a great story and a heart wrenching plot.
