The whole Callahan series is amazing!
This author writes the best mafia series I have ever read. And I’ve read so many. The twists and the turns in all of the Callahan books are so emotional. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve cried or been angry. I’ve even cursed out the author, especially in this very last book for the family. The characters are so well developed and you get so attached to them. I suggest reading about the Callahan family from the very first all the way through. Their truly amazing. I’m about to reread them all now after finishing this last one. I have to start from the beginning again. The author’s note states the author is checking out other genres and doesn’t know if she’ll do mafia again. I really hope she does. She has a true gift for it. Only JJ Mcavoy and Rachel Van Dyken seem to have a truly amazing gift for mafia genre.

Wow. Where to begin. I have loved this series so much. When I first read Ruthless People...I was hooked. And now that it is ending...I am heartbroken. But I understand ending it. The characters have grown and it was time for them to continue to live their own made up lives. Oh...but this book was so good. I cried and laughed through it all. Most of all, I was shocked. Thank you so much for the Callahans and their stories. I feel like I lost some friends in this book. Exceptional read!
Twist at every turn
This series has been one of the most captivating and frustrating series I have read. I have laugh, cried, screamed, and left in utter shock at times that I had to take a break from reading. JJ has giving it her all from the very beginning & this has truly been a roller coaster of emotions with each book.
