Ann is a newly married young welsh woman when her RAF husband’s mission goes awry & like other women she must forge an independent life to survive while awaiting news of Emerys, her MIA husband‼️. This novel lauds personal growth & fortitude of those left to carry on during the brutality of WWII‼️. Start with the first book in this series in order to get to know the many wonderful, beautifully written characters & events❣️❤️. It deserves more than the 5 stars I was limited to use! Enjoy❣️👍👏.
