Grayson Beaumont handles the creative side of the business for French Kiss, the San Francisco based lingerie company he owns with his brothers, but his true passion is painting nude women. Enter prickly, standoffish Chloe McAlister, the one woman Grayson can't get out of his head, and this contemporary romance rapidly devolves into a series of flimsy reasons for them to stay together. Despite the silly situations, the chemistry between the leads is explosive and believably sexy. Grayson helps out his brothers, learns to forgive his father, and comes to terms with his childhood memories. Chloe's path to redemption is paved with family loyalty and love. The repartee among Chloe and Grayson, the Beaumont brothers, and Chloe's friends is both funny and tender. Other than the contrived situations, this love affair is well crafted to balance sentimentality and passion, and readers will appreciate that Chloe and Grayson are truly friends as well as lovers.

I. Love. Katie Lane! She writes such a great mix of books. They have great banter and humor and emotion. Her Bramble Texas series is one of my favorites.
WUB is the last book of the series and the first one that I've read, so I have some catching up to do. I can't wait to read them all. Even though I hadn't read the other books I did not feel lost at all. Ms. Lane gives enough background of the characters that it felt almost like a stand alone book.
Grayson Beaumont and Chloe Cameron both have their secrets but Chloe's could end their budding relationship. Chloe's been on the run for six years. Her friends have found success but she's still floundering she just needs the money to start her new life so she agrees to let Grayson paint her. If only she can help him fine is muse. He hasn't been able to paint for six months, since Chloe broke his heart. Grayson and Chloe just don't realize that they each are the key to the others heart and secrets.

Steamy, Fun, and Sweet
Another winner by Katie Lane! This is a steamy, fun, and sweet romance.
"Waking Up with A Billionaire" by Katie Lane is book number three in the "Overnight Billionaires" series. This could be read as a standalone but you will want to go back and read the first two books. This is Grayson Beaumont and Chloe McAlister's story.
Grayson is a famous artist but is unable to paint. Something has to give so that Grayson can paint again. He is the quietest of the three Beaumont brothers. Grayson keeps everything inside so it's harder to know what's going on with him.
Chloe is in desperate need of money and needs to get out-of-town as soon as possible. At one time Grayson had offered Chloe money to pose for him. Will his offer still stand?
Grayson and Chloe both are dealing with secrets and hurts from their past. The chemistry between them is very intense. I loved watching Grayson and Chloe's relationship change and develop. Will Grayson and Chloe be able to overcome all the obstacles they are dealing with?
I have loved the "Overnight Billionaires" series. This has been a fun, sexy, sweet, and entertaining series.
