Prologue

It was near the end of leafbare when shimerstar leader of Cloudclan lost her last life to greencough. Mintleaf Cloudclan’s medicine cat said to cloudpelt shimmerstar’s deputy “well come on we need to get to the moon cave before moon high.”

Chapter one

Cloudstar had enjoyed being the leader of cloud clan. He loved his mate Sunnyheart.He then saw mintleaf rushing to the nursery. Sunflame was having kits! sunny heart then escorted the other queens and kits to the elder’s den.

Chapter two

Soon after all of the kits were born mintleaf headed out of the nursery looking sad. Cloudstar then asked her “what is wrong?”Mintleaf then mewed “I lost her.”Cloudstar then started sobbing, sunflame was his littermate. But mintleaf then meowed” the kits survived.”

Chapter three

Cloudstar had then told the clan that flametail had died and that Leopardkit and rosekit would be nursed by roseheart. The whole clan was in grief. Cloudstar then meowed “we will sit vigil for her tonight.” He then went into his den and sunnyheart followed him.

Chapter four

The next morning sunnyheart felt nauseous,so she went to mintleaf’s den. Soon she then came out and said to Cloudstar that she was expecting kits! Cloudstar was so happy he was going to be a father!

Chapter 5

It was 2 moons after sunnyheart and cloudstar’s kits were born, their names were icekit and firekit. Icekit had a light blue coat and firekit had a orangey red coat. Then that night rosekit and leopardkit were six moons old,they were ready to become apprentices!
So then Cloudstar then said leopardkit and rosekit “you both have reached six moons old now you become apprentices” he then said to leopard kit” you have requested to be a medicine cat apprentice I am accepting that request your mentor will be mintleaf and until you get your medicine cat name you will be leopardpaw, and rosekit until you receive you warrior name you will be known a rose paw and your mentor will be sunpelt.

Chapter 6

It was a full moon when the three clans came together to meet in peace.
There was carsonstar leader of canineclan,and froststar leader of snowclan. Carsonstar began with “prey is running well and our pups are healthy.” Froststar then said “we have a new warrior and kit ,mistcloud ,and frost kit. Cloudstar then also said “ we have two new apprentices leopard paw and rosepaw.

Chapter 7

6 moons later

Leopardfang and rosewisker were a full medicine cat and warrior.Cloudstar was walking around camp when leopardfang headed out of camp suspiciously,so Cloudstar followed her.
Eventually she went to the snowclan border and heard her say to a cat on the other side of the border “pinefur I am expecting your kits “ pinefur said back “oh my goodness,im a father!”
Cloudstar was shocked that she of all cats would break the code.

Chapter 8

Leopardfang and rosewhisker said to Cloudstar that they need to go on a trip to the mooncave and find an herb and was probably going to be gone for a few days. Cloudstar asked if he could come and help her. Then he said that he knew and would help her. So they brought some herbs and set off.

Chapter 9

Cloudstar was sure that they would not be found and Leopardfang ,her belly swollen with kits said here pointing at a big bush and collapsed and started to give birth. She was groaning in pain as she shook and then flametail come and said well come on hey rose whisker grab that stick and those herbs. Leopardfang howled as the first kit came out and Cloudstar put it to Leopardfang’s belly then the same thing happened as the next two kits came out and Cloudstar put them up to leopardfang’s belly. “I’ll call them bushkit,firekit,and cloudkit

Chapter 10

As they all returned to camp when rosewisker said “icetail! You’re a father!”
