Nostalgic coming of age
A great book! I was feeling particularly nostalgic with all the song titles from the 80s to early 90s at the start of each chapter as well as the pop cultural references dotted throughout. If you are a fan of 80s romcom movies, you’d enjoy this book.

I thoroughly enjoyed this nostalgic visit to the 90's. Beautifully done. Prescott manages to capture the hope, passion and idealism of a time before the world got a little more complicated, and imbues it with a healthy dose of both realism and optimism. That's a lot of isms, but there's so much to love and think about between the pages of this book.
