Publisher Description
Just when Killian and I are planning our vacation, Cupid strikes Moonshadow Bay. But it's not exactly love at first sight for the victims, and we at Conjure Ink have our hands full. Someone's attacking townsfolk, shooting them with arrows that are enchanted by a love potion. Not only are the victims hurt, but they fall into obsessive love—a love that can be dangerous.
And in the middle of this, a restaurant that used to be a funeral home is having ghostly encounters of the harrowing kind. I just hope we can take care of all of this before Killian and I head off on vacation to celebrate Valentine's Day.

Darkly Delicious!
In this sixth installment in the Moonshadow Bay series, January and Killian are preparing for a much-needed romantic getaway, but before they can leave, a strange set of circumstances befalls the town. Certain residents have been shot with poisoned arrows, and while these shots aren’t fatal, they cause extreme obsession in victims, turning them into stalkers. January is determined to get to the bottom of this, especially when someone close to her is hit by one of these arrows.
In the meantime, Conjure Inc. is investigating a possible haunting at a local business, and it’s not long before the team begins to wonder if they might be in over their heads this time. This ghost isn’t at all what they’re used to, causing January and the gang to reach deep within themselves to bring forth the necessary power. There were a few times I found myself wondering if something bad was about to happen, something that would change the course of January’s life.
Like the previous books in the series, Weaver’s web is a quick read that is sure to delight fans from start to finish. However, if you’re not in the mood for some darkness, you might want to hold off on this one until you’re in a headspace that’s more conducive to the novel’s themes. You won’t find anything overly graphic here, but some of what January encounters is intense and could be triggering to some readers.
I’m a huge fan of the relationship between January and Killian, and that relationship definitely gets more page time in this installment than in some of the prior books. I love watching them grow as a couple. I especially love the way Killian respects January’s boundaries. He doesn’t pressure her into anything she’s not 100% ready for, and it’s for this reason he’s fast becoming one of my favorite of this author’s heroes.
And, get ready for some steam. We see a bit more sex on the page than we have in the last few books, and I’m definitely not disappointed.
Whenever I finish a Yasmine Galenorn book, I’m immediately ready for the next one in the series, and this holds true for Weaver’s Web. Those darker themes I mentioned earlier just might open the door to some new adventures for January, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for her.
