West Eastern Fire 1

The text cycle “fire” describes the course of a love story in which individual objectified and thereby intensified emotions are portrayed by means of the tangible metaphor of “fire” as a flame of the heart. Herein the text ties in with traditions of Sufism as well as the literary work of Goethe´s  West-Eastern Diwan and the later work of Rückert in resuming a process of cultural
