Publisher Description
No one ever paid attention to the faces of missing children on milk cartons. But as Janie Johnson glanced at the face of the little girl who had been taken twelve years ago, she recognized that little girl--it was herself.
The mystery of the kidnapping is unraveled, but the nightmare is not over. The Spring family wants justice, but who is to blame? It's difficult to figure out what's best for everyone.
Janie Johnson or Jennie Spring? There's enough love for everyone, but how can the two separate families live happily ever after?

My review
I like the book. It keeps you on your seat the whole book. But I thought that the face on the milk carton was better. I could understand it a lot more. I missed Reeve in the book. Don't get me wrong it is a good book!
Whatever Happened to Janie?
This book is a m a z i n g! I read "The Face on the Milk Carton" a couple of years ago. I had borrowed the book from one of my teachers. I had no idea it was part of a series! & then a little while after reading the book, I saw the movie on tv! I always love watching movies that are based on books just so I can compare the two. Somehow I ended up finding "Whatever Happened to Janie?" & I HAD to have it! I was not disappointed at all :) I look forward to reading the rest of the books in the Janie series!
Whatever Happened To Janie?
The first book is always the best. Whatever happened to Janie is a great book but isn't as good as the first. If you REALLY enjoyed the first book like me then definitely read the second because it's good! However one thing that upsets me is the relationship. The relationship between Reeve and Janie is really gone as far as we know. They don't have Reeve in this book which really is the biggest reason why I loved the first book! It's so upsetting to me but saying that Reeve comes back in the third book, I still recommend reading this series especially these next two books. (Book 2+3). Sorry this is really long but I hope it was useful and if you haven't read the first book then I DEFINITELY recommend reading it because it was outstanding!
