Among the best escapist fantasy
When the Green Star Calls, and the rest of the Green Star series is among the best escapist fantasy out there. Well written with great but admittedly one dimensional characters. Honor, loyalty, and swash buckling swordsmanship. I am reminded of dreams I used to have as a young boy.
