New book boyfriend!!
I absolutely love this book. There are new scary characters. Eeekkkk And like I said, I have a new book boyfriend. Brokk! Yummy. Little jealous of Kaylia. But it’s fine. The story draws you in from the first page. And never let’s go, until the end. I know I’ll have nightmares for a while, which is what a great character driven book does. I can’t highly recommend this book to everyone.
Was hoping for so much more…
I’ve loved every book in this series so far, but this one sadly left so much to be desired. Kailya’s character has such a compelling background, but I feel like the author never went deeper into her grief and guilt. It was just constantly repeating the same few sentences. There was no slow burn — it felt like she was so against it and then suddenly changed her mind? Maybe it’s an editing issue. Brokk has always been a favorite character of mine, and I hope their love story actually goes to a new level in the next release. I feel like things finally got to the next level right at the end. Definitely hard to read this after coming down from Orin and Sahira’s epic love.
A Must Read!!
Wow! This book kept me on the edge of my seat thru the entire book. I was drawn in on page 1. Had it read in lass within 2 days. I was kept on an emotional roller coaster with lots of suspense. Love, love, love the book and cannot wait for the next one!!
