It rode the waves on Ocean Beach, swirling on the surface of the blue and green and turquoise waters. The delicious scent of freedom settled on the roofs of the Victorians, stately and colorful, and throughout The City, between the blades of grass in nature’s harnessed glory, Golden Gate Park.

This is a story of a gathering of lovers, friends, strangers, and a nanny who join together in a flat on Polk Street to create a family in the bosom of this fair city.
