“The story flows so seamlessly that readers will dread putting the book down and will be disappointed when it finally ends.” —RT Book Reviews, Five Star Gold review
The Men of Haven: fierce passion, unyielding loyalty.
Especially when it comes to their women.
Zeke Dugan is not a man who walks the straight and narrow. He may have sworn an oath as a trauma doc, but he has zero problem leveraging his medical skills outside a hospital if it means giving the Brotherhood—the group of men he calls family—an advantage. Blood before business. All that changes when shy Gabrielle stumbles into his life and ignites his protective instincts.
Mechanic Gabrielle Parker prefers the complexities of an engine over men. Her life wasn’t always quiet and well-ordered, but now that it is, she finds peace in the solitude. When a robbery in her neighborhood forces her out of her safe bubble, she never fathoms that a dangerous, cocky trauma doctor will fix more than her injuries.
Zeke doesn’t play by the rules that Gabrielle follows but knows that he’s exactly what she needs in her life. He’ll show her the fierce and uncompromising protection that comes from belonging to a man like him.
When tension outside the Brotherhood threatens Gabrielle, Zeke will do anything to keep her safe, and damn the consequences. No one will hurt his woman, even if it means putting the very men who saved his life at risk.

The sexy Haven Brotherhood alphas are back
The sexy Haven Brotherhood alphas are back in Wild & Sweet.
Brothers by choice, the Haven Brotherhood is a group of men bonded by life circumstances. They will do what it takes to keep each other and the ones they love safe. Following their own moral code, they don't always stick to the laws of society but make their own path to justice.
This time Zeke, doctor by trade, falls for the complex little mechanic that stumbles into his life.
Zeke is uber alpha while Gabe is an introvert, loving her privacy and flying below the radar. She doesn't understand what Zeke sees in her but Zeke is persistent in his pursuit and whittles away her carefully constructed walls.
Everything is great between them until Zeke feels its necessary to take on the real estate group that is pushing to grab land in Gabe's neighborhood.
Zeke is a swoon worthy hero that will melt your heart.
Gabe might like to go unnoticed, she still knows how to stand up for what she believes in.
Wild & Sweet touches your heart, emotionally connects you to the characters all the while making you smile and swoon. What more could you ask for in a contemporary romance.
I received this ARC copy of Wild & Sweet from Carina Press. This is my honest and voluntary review.
If you love characters with three dimensions and absolutely believable, and you like your romance sensual and steamy, this book, the entire series is definitely for you. I thought Jace from Rough and Tumble, book one in the Haven Brotherhood would be tough to beat, but Zeke wins easily. He is everything you want in a doctor; competent, compassionate, kind, smart as a whip. But he's more. He is sweet, sexy and completely lovable, in that ooh-I'd-like-some-of-that kind of way. He's well balanced and memorable. Gabriella seems like the last woman he'd be with, grounded, shy, afraid of life. I was drawn to her as she started coming out of her shell, making friends and falling in love with the good doctor. When the two are together on the page, oh the sparks!
Rhenna Morgan has done a stellar job in writing a book I just couldn't put down. Page after page of action, intrigue, and best of all, love. Love of family, love of each other. I'd highly recommend this book and the entire series. Looking forward to reading the next installment.
The Haven Brotherhood is back at it in this latest installment in the series. This is the second book but can easily be read standalone. This band of life brothers who have chosen to live by their rules and their own moral compasses may look like your run of the mill guys around town but when someone threatens one of their own the gloves come off.
Zeke Dugan is an ER trauma doc and is willing to put his medical skills to work anytime the brotherhood needs them. Meeting Gabrielle "Gabe" Parker, the sister of a potential brotherhood member, not only calls his skills into play but also his protective nature. He's immediately drawn to her but she's a straight arrow, always playing by the rules as well as an introvert. Much happier under the hood of a car than talking to another person. His lifestyle may not work well with hers but he'll do anything to make sure she's safe.
I highly recommend this one.
