The long-awaited explosive climax to the first arc of the #1 New York Times bestselling Stormlight Archive—the iconic epic fantasy masterpiece that has sold more than 10 million copies, from acclaimed bestselling author Brandon Sanderson.
Dalinar Kholin challenged the evil god Odium to a contest of champions with the future of Roshar on the line. The Knights Radiant have only ten days to prepare—and the sudden ascension of the crafty and ruthless Taravangian to take Odium’s place has thrown everything into disarray.
Desperate fighting continues simultaneously worldwide—Adolin in Azir, Sigzil and Venli at the Shattered Plains, and Jasnah in Thaylenah. The former assassin, Szeth, must cleanse his homeland of Shinovar from the dark influence of the Unmade. He is accompanied by Kaladin, who faces a new battle helping Szeth fight his own demons . . . and who must do the same for the insane Herald of the Almighty, Ishar.
At the same time, Shallan, Renarin, and Rlain work to unravel the mystery behind the Unmade Ba-Ado-Mishram and her involvement in the enslavement of the singer race and in the ancient Knights Radiant killing their spren. And Dalinar and Navani seek an edge against Odium’s champion that can be found only in the Spiritual Realm, where memory and possibility combine in chaos. The fate of the entire Cosmere hangs in the balance.

Wonderful
I’m curious why there were so many poor reviews. This was no ‘slog’! Loved it. My only complaint is that I waited too long for this. I want the next one now
Unfortunately woke
I have loved this series since 2013 when I first read The Way of Kings. I’ve read every scrap of literature I could afford that was written by Brandon. This book while mostly amazing and very informative of the cosmere in larger scale than any of his works before has left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth by the openly woke agenda pushed throughout the book. I was looking forward to eventually reading these books to my son as an introduction to the fantasy genre and now I feel I’m unable to because I refuse to read him something that might influence him towards that dark path. As for myself, I’m steadfast in my own beliefs and I’m willing to continue reading in part because a lot of the book was fantastic. The ending left more to be desired than I would’ve liked but I understand the need for a good cliffhanger coming into a new arc. I guess we will see if I continue to be a loyal fan and reader but it would be dishonest if I didn’t at least give you the first of my reviews for your books a less than 5 stars. Please don’t let the woke agenda take my favorite books and turn them into something unreadable
I Wish He Had Not
It is one thing to add homosexuality into the author's world. But to include women claiming to be men & vice versa is really really bad!! For me this book has almost ruined the whole cosmere and gave this book a 2* rating. Hopefully he doesnt do this again in his next book
