    Wine for regular folks!

Finally! A book that makes learning about wine fun and interesting! I love wine but have been overwhelmed by many books that are so full of technical info that they're hard to get through. I just want to know what I need to know to enjoy more of the wine that's out there and how to find new things to try… not be a wine snob. Wine 101 presents the wine making process and differences in the varietals in terms that normal people can understand. The videos are definitely a nice addition and kept it interesting throughout.

I liked the lighthearted tone that suggests that learning about wine should be something that makes life more fun, not feel like a math class. The chapter quizzes made me retain enough info to feel comfortable when asking questions about ordering wine for the table or talking to a sommelier. There's a lot of information in the book for it doesn't feel dry or tough to read like in other books of this kind.

I would recommend Wine 101 for people who want to enjoy wine more in their normal, everyday life! That's what it's all about right?!?

After an enchanting visit to the Napa valley, I picked up this book looking for a quick accessible way to learn more about wine. This book delivered all that I could have asked for and more. Not only was it a fun read, the text was engaging, but the videos from industry experts were the icing on the cake. If you want to impress your friends or date at dinner and drop some serious wine knowledge on them, get this book!
