But shattering news from Morrowseer has shaken Sunny's faith in their destiny. Is it possible for anyone to end this terrible war and choose a new SandWing queen? What if everything they've been through was for nothing?

Buried secrets, deadly surprises, and an unexpected side to scavengers are all waiting for her in the shifting sands of the desert, where Sunny must decide once and for all: Is her destiny already written?

Chapter 5

Peaches viewed with wide eyes as four nightwings were dragging Glory away, “Hey!” Peaches called. “Who are you?! Leave Queen Glory alone.” A Nightwing snorted and shot a burst of flame at Peaches, she quickly dodged it but her wing got slightly scathed by the flames, meanwhile the dark purple curtain covering the dusty glass window started to burn to ashes along with other stuff in the hut. Peaches screeched as a tiny part of her wing had a wide pink burn mark which was smoking, Peaches growled as her scales turned red pouncing at the the Nightwings, she thought she had them but before she could land the attack a older Nightwing whose size was barely comparable to peaches threw her on the hard wooden floor as the place started filling with smoke from the flames, the Nightwing had her pinned down as she clawed his underbelly viciously, in panic she looked past the Nightwing pinning her and saw the three nightwings carrying Glory away into the starry night air. To the nightwings surprise she pushed him off and flew after the nightwings who were much faster due to their bigger wings, after a while of chasing them the nightwings started to land in a wide clearing of trees where dozens of distraught rainwings were laying down after being brought by the nightwings, before she even landed a Nightwing held a rainwing by the throat and violently with a quick thrust sliced his claws across the rainwings throat as she bled to death at the horror of other frightened rainwings. Peaches turned her head around as to not watch the gore, she saw glory being set down while she was unconscious, the rainwings were being violently chained by the neck to the floor with strong metal muzzles to prevent them from using venom. Peaches was horrified, she thought the Nightwing kidnapping rainwings thing was over and Glory had fixed it, but instead they were doing the same thing over again instead with more drastic measures. She looked around at all the injured rainwings as they had got bruises from being knocked out, even some had been fatally injured, and she didn’t know why maybe they were misbehaving? She had never been more angry at the nightwings. Then suddenly, cold talons wrapped around her throat and with a scream something sharp was stabbed into the side of her throat, she lost feeling every second, until it was darkness. This was a mistake.

Well Done

This book was a really fun look into how Sunny really felt about the other dragonets, but I really would’ve liked it if we could have seen more of Smolder and Thorn. On other thing, holler in ivy and fluffy is leaf edit: I love to read your fanfic naturewing

Hello y’all! Edit-

Hey my fwiends!! Yes me, MagnoliaHeart likes WOF but I’m more of a Warriors fan. My younger sis and Bestie told me to read a little but I still am a Warriors fan. Please don’t be mad at me, but, yeah. Also, y’all can use Delta and her fam and tribe in a fanfic if you want to.

Main character
Name: Delta
Crush: Lumierè (light in French)
Looks: light blue with gold scales scattered in different places
Tribe: ShimmerWings
Position: princess
Personality: Kind, book lover, great warrior, easily annoyed, bold

My tribe
Queen: Queen Fluss (river in German)
King: King Rio (river in Spanish)
Princesses/Princes: Princess Fleuve(river in French) Princess Delta, Prince Nile, Princess Bay, and Princess Pacifica
Looks: they are blue with gold scales scattered around their body, and their faces are usually a deeper blue
Abilities: while the ShimmerWings may seem peaceful, they have secrets. When they need to fight, their entire wing it becomes covered with spikes that have poison at the tips, only ShimmerWings are immune to the poison. They also spit venomous saliva that can burn a talon off
Habitat: a discreet island off the coast of the Rainforest Kingdom, with rivers, and mountains of gold, and lush green trees.
Food: they have a diet of fish, fruit, small mammals, and gold dust(that’s what gives them their shiny scales!😁)

More about Delta: my older sister Fleuve thinks she knows everything because she’s the oldest. My younger siblings aren’t that bad except for Nile, he’s as bad, if not WORSE than Fleuve! The only one of my sisters that I KNOW wouldn’t execute me if they became queen is Pacifica. She’s very sweet and delicate, but wouldn’t survive a day if she did rule. My friends are; Blau*, a ShimmerWing, Shmutz*, a MudWing, Lumierè, my ShimmerWing crush, Sarcelle* a ShimmerWing, and my little sister Pacifica.

About Lumierè…..
Name: Lumierè
Crush: Delta
Looks: darker than usual blue, scales with silver shimmer, and golden eyes
Tribe: ShimmerWings
Personality: kind, feisty, playful, smart, flirty, great warrior

****Shumtz means dirt in German, Sarcelle means teal in French, and Blau means blue in German!

Hope y’all enjoyed it!!!
