Worth the Wait Worth the Wait

Publisher Description

I’m all about pleasure.

A good pint of ale, a perfectly cooked wagyu steak, a king bed with cotton sheets, and living by my own rules. As far as I’m concerned, the only thing that could ruin it is anything that looks like a serious relationship. And for the last three years, it’s worked perfectly.

Which is why it’s extremely inconvenient that my massage therapist makes me want to rewrite my whole plan. Grace Bailey is beautiful, funny, and totally off-limits. No one else can make me feel so relaxed and tense at the same time. And the last thing she needs is another one of her patients hitting on her…especially when men are on her current list of banned toxins.

For the first time in my life, I am going to have to fight every impulse I have. I have to show her that I can be trusted to respect her boundaries. That means keeping my hands—and lips—from doing their magic. No touching. No kissing. Just being…creative.

And damn, it’s turning out to be the hottest thing either of us has ever done.

Only I’m not just showing her I’m worth the wait. I’m going to prove that I am the one she’s been waiting for.

WORTH THE WAIT

A quirky read that will have you smiling ... often! A sexy bartender meets a gorgeous massage therapist, they flirt, they go their separate ways ... and then proceed to run into each other a handful more times over the next couple of days, even in different states! Obviously fate has spoken ... right??

Jeremy Denning is a self-proclaimed lover of women! He's a great guy, loyal friend, loves his family ... but he is never going to commit to a relationship again. Previously burned, twice ... well, never going to happen!

Grace Bailey is struggling to prove herself to her family, and trying to help herself grow into a more aware person at the same time. When she meets Jeremy, there's obviously some major attraction there ... but he only wants one thing, and she's not going there!

He tries to walk away ... he really does. She's sworn off bad food, booze and most especially MEN for six months. How can he compete with that? He doesn't even want to right? Well ... maybe!

Oh Boy It's Worth The Wait!

Although this is the 4th book of the series, it's the 2nd book that I've read (so far), and although they have been the two newest I don't feel as though I'm lost. Each of these stories are standalone novels that one way or another are connected to the Kingston Ale House. This one is another great story from A.J. Pine. The way she weaves the love story between these two charactrrs"ers is awesome. The secondary characters that show up and try to reek havoc is spectacularly added.
Jeremy wants to be a partner in the Kingston Ale House with Jamie who also happens to be getting married. However Jeremy has been afraid of commitment for the last three years. So before he'll consider Jeremy for partnership, Jamie sent him to a brewing conference to learn more about the process. While at the conference he gets a massage, there's something about the therapist that he's drawn to... And she won't even kiss him because she's in the middle of a six month full-on man cleanse. Plus he'll never see her again after he had back home.
Grace is a massage therapist who lives in Chicago, has a second job that she travels to on weekends as one of the hotels massage therapists in Wisconsin. Because of her ex she has to not only have this second job, but she has had to put her dreams of opening her own massage therapy store front on hold. He's also the reason she's trying Man Cleanse: Six Months to a Healthy, Happy You…and the Road to True Love by Suzanne Summerville(*direct book quote). Which means clean foods and clean drinks for six months, oh and no sex. She's had clients she's thought were attractiveness before, but Jeremy for some reason throws her off kilter, thankfully she won't be seeing him again.
After getting back home in Chicago they both get back to work, where once again they meet again. They still feel something pulling them together but she had 3 months left on her journey. To tear how the journey progress and what happens adding the way you need to read WORTH THE WAIT... And of boy is it definitely worth it!! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book via IndieSage through NetGalley in exchange for an honest blog tour review. Due to sexual content this novel is recommended for readers 18 and older!

~ There seemed to be a correlation between what went on in his head and what took place in his pants. Best to leave the thinking to a minimum for the rest of the afternoon.
~ The whole point was that love wasn’t a game.

Worth It!!

After a horrible breakup, Grace follows the advice of a popular book to cleanse her life of all negativity. She is three months into her six month cleanse when she meets Jeremy. Jeremy went through a horrible break up of his own three years ago and hasn't committed to anything since. When Grace and Jeremy keep running into together, they agree to friendship since Grace isn't willing to break her cleanse. When Jeremy's ex, the weather girl at the local news station, hears of Grace's cleanse, she pitches it as a puff piece to boost ratings. When Grace has to go on dates for the story, Jeremy agrees to be her wingman but after seeing a few, decides that the man that Grace is going to kiss in three months is him. With a partnership in Kingston Ale House on the table, can Jeremy commit to another thing?

This story was so bittersweet for me. I loved this series and am so sad to see it end. I couldn't put down Jeremy and Grace's story. Separately, these two had so much to get together. Jeremy and his lack of commitment and Grace and all of her secrets. Together, these two were a powerhouse. With Grace swearing off men and Jeremy's ex back in town, I thought this book would have a ton of angst but, while there was some drama, it definitely wasn't a huge part of the story. These two opposites complemented each other so perfectly that I never wanted the story to end. While I'm sad to goodbye to this series, I am really looking forward to what comes next from this author!
