Publisher Description

"Sexy and tender, Wound Tight had me smiling and squirming. Watching these two men open up and fight for their love is a must for any romance fan." - USA Today bestselling author Megan Erickson

When CEO Renner Bastion walks into a room, everyone keeps their distance. Well, almost everyone. The exception is a sarcastic, tattooed, Boston-bred security guard whose presence has kept Renner in New Jersey longer than intended. As if the unwanted attraction isn’t unsettling enough, Renner finds out his protector isn’t as unavailable as he thought.

Milo Bautista just came out to his wealthy, ultra-confident boss—a man he secretly respects and admires—in more ways than he’ll admit. Worldly, experienced Renner would never look in his direction, let alone share some of that confidence he wears like a cloak, so Milo has set his sights on someone else to be his first.

That is until Renner offers him private lessons in seduction. Now distance is the last thing either of them wants...

4 Stars!

This book was extremely entertaining. I've never read a M/M story before and didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to read about two men who were what I considered very manly. Both were dominant and prideful. They butted heads and the attitude they gave each other while trying to navigate their attraction to each other just kept me laughing. I also loved the little bit of Duke and Samantha we got to see. This was an enjoyable read. ARC provided by NetGalley.

Loved this blue collar MM romance

Milo and Renner's story was amazing! Go read it! Trust me because I'd never steer you wrong if you love a frenemies to lovers story. Well, not really frenemies. More like I-am-really-reluctant vs I-am-going-to-win-you-over.

Before we get to deep into the review, true confessions: I series hopped. I know I preach the no-no I think should be followed, but this was recommended by my book pimp so I HAD to read it. And you know, I really think I don't think I lost anything from not reading about Renner in previous Made in Jersey books. The story truly stood alone, and as a reader you got what a conflicted man Renner was. However, having such a strong alpha male persona, you'd think he'd need his equal. But Milo is both disarmingly charming to both Renner and the reader.

This is one of those stories where you understand the walls that each character has and yet, anxiously await both to breach them. I was charmed by these characters that seemed more relatable to the everyday man in a long time.

Amazing end to the series!

For an author's first venture into the M/M world, this book was a huge success. I couldn't put it down but I never wanted it to end. I'm sad to see the end of the Made in Jersey series.

Reiner Bastion is the CEO of the factory in Hook. He mostly keeps to himself in his office and none of the employees would consider him friend material. Milo Battista works security at the factory and has appointed himself personal bodyguard to the boss man. Renner might watch his bodyguard from afar but he had rules around lusting after straight men. All the rules go out the window when Milo comes out to Renner and asks for tips to land the man he's been interested in. Renner knows this is probably a bad idea but what better way to satisfy his lust so he can get back to business as usual?

I loved Renner in Book 3. His obvious affection for his sister and dedication to the factory were just a couple things that made me love him so I couldn't wait until his own story was told. In Book 4, you get to see the depth of the man who rules the world one business at a time. Milo was just as amazing. He stands his ground and clear that even though the lessons started to benefit another man, he wants no one but Renner. This story was a perfect ending to an awesome series!
