Publisher Description
Nothing says 'disastrous first date' like an alien murder.
Agent Lora Griffin signed up for a charity auction with aliens to raise money for a shelter—not to find love, and certainly not with an extraterrestrial. But when her alien date dies under suspicious circumstances, Lora finds herself at the center of an interstellar investigation with a partner she didn't ask for: a seven-foot-tall, all-muscle, blue-skinned alien bodyguard who's far too interested in calling her "mate."
Zhiruto didn't come to Earth looking for a mate. He's here to protect his prince. No distractions, no entanglements, no emotions. But Lora is unlike any female he's ever met: sharp, fearless, and completely immune to his charm. And the mating bond has already decided for him. She is his destined mate… even if Lora isn't convinced at all.
A steamy sci-fi romance where solving a murder is complicated... but resisting a possessive alien bodyguard is even more so. For fans of fated mates, humor amidst chaos, explosive chemistry, and a guaranteed happy ending.

Zhiruto ( Kirenai Fated Mates book 2 ) by Tamsin Ley
This is Lora and Zhiruto’s story and a very good one. Zhiruto is still on earth after the assassins attack on Prince Arazhi who has fled back to their home plate with his mate Georgie. Zhiruto has found his mate Lora , but she was not impressed and denied the mate bond . Then the two worked out their differences and now have a HEA . Can’t wait to read book 3 .
Mate in haste, repent at…
Nah. Not really. Zhiruto, personal bodyguard to the Kirenai crown prince, already feels bad about not stoping the assassination attempt on his friend and ruler, but when his astounding attraction to Lora Griffin, Earth cop, escalates to sex… He does the unforgivable. He transfers his genetic marker to her during sex, thus bomdimg them forever - WITHOUT ASKING FIRST. Big forking mistake. They may have to continue pursuing the escaped assassin but Lora is firm ini rejecting his bond… Or maybe not. Its a great read, a steamy love story that ends in HEA and a great sigh of relief.
