Fun, creative and unique book
My daughter really got a kick out of this book. Donna McGarry’s children’s books are always a truly engaging and fun story that combine images the pop off the screen with unique tales and entertaining text. This is not the first McGarry book we have purchased, nor will it be the last.
Love it!
This is the second book I have from the collection (the first was Leo Limelight Lunacy) and I love it just as much! Donna has a very unique style both when it comes to the writing and the illustrations and she does something that I rarely see elsewhere - incorporates interactive components, which kids love. Taurus Treehouse is a fun and entertaining book for kids, whether you plan to read it out loud with them or let them listen to the narraration. And I am not going to lie - even as an adult, I am enjoying this collection :)
Great Book for the Family
Looking for a children's book with original art like Eric Carle and quirky Dr.Seuss-esque rhymes? Pick up Donna McGarry's Zodiacts: Taurus Treehouse, a story about several zodiac signs in strange forms who are having a bad day. Parents will adore this book for its originality and funny lines while kids can relate to the zodiacs; they're kids, too!
It's available on iTunes for young readers to play on their iPad.
