The Thames
I liked this book, albeit the story far fetched & a bit wet in the grit department, the beauty is in the writing - which echoes the ebb & flow of the Thames upon which forms the backdrop of the whole story. I also like books that are true to their location & this part of London has also been captured with beauty & warmth. A good read, not groundbreaking but I'm glad I read it of only for the narrative.
