When you can live forever what do you live for?
When Isabella Swan moves to the gloomy town of Forks and meets the mysterious, alluring Edward Cullen, her life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. With his porcelain skin, golden eyes, mesmerising voice, and supernatural gifts, Edward is both irresistible and impenetrable. Up until now, he has managed to keep his true identity hidden, but Bella is determined to uncover his dark secret. What Bella doesn't realise is the closer she gets to him, the more she is putting herself and those around her at risk. And it might be too late to turn back...
Deeply seductive and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight will have readers riveted right until the very last page is turned.
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Twilight, the first novel in the generation-defining Young Adult series by Stephenie Meyer, comes to life in this thrilling audiobook. The book that launched a cultural phenomenon, Twilight charts the tumultuous romance between teenager Bella Swan and vampire Edward Cullen. Complications deepen when a sinister pack of vampires descends on Bella’s dreary small town of Forks. Prolific voiceover actor Ilyana Kadushin’s spirited yet sincere narration perfectly embodies Bella's unruly emotions and the experience of first love, which anchors the story. While many will be well-acquainted with the book series and blockbuster film franchise, the audiobook format gives listeners a new perspective on the unlikely love story, and lets them marvel at Meyer’s inventive world-building and unique depiction of teenage desire.
Customer Reviews
Loved it!
No idea why people hated her voice so much. I loved it, I thought she did a great job. And so much easier listening rather than reading it myself. I could listen to it anywhere. Home, car, work literally anywhere. Even got me walking more, put the earphones on and just walk and walk. It’s quite addictive actually! It was quite helpful watching the movie first as the characters were cast so well it gave me a perfect image of all of them.
Such a vibe
Not sure what everyone’s on about her voice isn’t that bad, there was barely crackling. I was listening to this every spare minute on my HomePod, on the aux in my car and on my phone and it was such a good listen, way more convenient than reading!
Wow!
I didn’t buy this because of the bad views saying her voice is horrible so I never bothered to ever read it or preview it
After a few months I had nothing to read,
So I ended up buying it. It turned out her voice isn’t that bad
Her voice might be a bit tacky at times but she’s very good at this and it’s all bout the story not the voice I really enjoyed this
It’s worth it!
