Riveting
If you are a fan of fantasy or paranormal romances this series is for you. I was hesitant when I started reading this series by Sawyer Bennett but I needn’t have worried. The growth of both Finley and Carrick throughout these books has been amazing.
This is the fourth book in the series and if you have not read the other three books I would suggest you stop and do so as this series needs to be read in order. The story continues to build as Finley learns more about her powers and how to control them. She needs to be at the top of her game if she has any chance of defeating Kymaris.
Working with the Scooby gang (love the name), immortal friends and Carrick, FInley knows that the time is near when she will have to face the final battle as alliances will be tested and suspicions raised. Will she succeed or is she destined to fail?
The twists and turns continue and I was surprised several times whilst reading A Battle of Blood & Stone and the ending will leave you with your mouth hanging open. I cannot wait to see what Ms. Bennett has in store in The Rise of Fortune and Fury.
Amazing Story
This is the fourth book in the Chronicles of the Stone Series and you do need to have read the previous books to get the best out of this one. If you are a fan of paranormal this series should definitely be on your radar and if like me this isn’t a genre you are drawn too you should still read this wonderful, amazing love story with characters you will adore.
The story continues with Finley learning more about her powers and learning how to use them for her advantage because she needs to be at her best if she is going to defeat Kymaris. Working with her immortal friends and Carrick she knows the time is coming for her to face the final battle, alliances will be tested and suspicions raised as we find out who is friend and who is foe.
As with the previous books this one will keep you on the edge of your seat as Finley negotiates the twists and turns of the dark world but I didn’t see that ending coming !!!! I was gobsmacked and I can’t wait to see where we are taken in The Rise of Fortune and Fury.
This series is one of my favourites of 2021 and I highly recommend it.
