Worth the read
I thoroughly enjoyed reading Casteel’s version of how he and Poppy met and fell in love. Yes, some of it is repetitive, but as someone who re-reads books multiple times, I didn’t mind. There was enough new content, especially Cas’s relationships with Kieran, Delano, Emil and Naill, to make it worthwhile. I love the twist at the end. Can’t wait for the next one.

Severely disappointed
Not what I expected and not in a good way. I envisaged more poppy x cas x kieran. I eagerly welcomed the stasis because… cas x kieran finally! But no. Last chapter was the only that had me enthralled. The recount of events from cas was nice but it didn’t need to devour the whole book. And shockingly no kieran pov! After months of anticipating this book I am thoroughly dissatisfied.
