Loved This book
I thoroughly enjoyed Callum’s story. Lots of backstory and explanation of how he achieved all that he did mixed in with Juniper’s involvement. Second chances don’t come around all that often, so if they do you should consider taking a risk.
Ticked all my boxes
I love catching up with the Pittsburgh Titans and who would have thought that at book 12 I would be still falling hard and fast for these hero’s and loving each book a little bit more that the last. Callum is the lastest release and his emotional journey is the perfect addition to this wonderful series. If you love second chance love stories look no further than Callum Derringer and Juniper ( Juni) Ryan’s story. Jason Clarke and Leesa Lamb did a wonderful job bringing the characters and their story to life. They were spot on with highly emotional, roller coaster of a ride and they were spot on with the danger, the passion, the fear and the love that flows through this book. Callum is the General Manager of the Pittsburg Titans, he loves his job and his life but he has never forgotten the one who got away. When his mother has a fall and ends up in hospital he returns home, a place he would never return to unless it’s to help his mother and that’s when he comes across he first love again. Juni still lives un his home town but she is desperate to escape her abusive husband who is Tristan’s step brother. Determined to help he takes her back to Pittsburg to start a new life but will that life include being together…….. This book had me smiling one minute and breaking my heart the next, it is an emotional roller coaster that twists and turns I didn’t see coming. I was captivated from the first chapter and I was the edge of my seat until the final word was read and even then I wanted more. I highly recommend this wonderful read to all romance lovers.

With this being the twelfth book in the series you’d think the author couldn’t bring us something new, and you’d be wrong. Yes it’s a second chance romance but it’s also about having the courage to walk away and survive an abusive marriage. We have all made mistakes in our younger years, and Callum’s was to set up his career before his relationship went to the next level. Juniper’s was not having enough faith and marrying the stepbrother of her first love. I can’t blame her too much as Joshua knew how to manipulate her and said all the right things until they were married. It wasn’t long before her eyes were wide open but she was trapped. Callum is nothing like his stepbrother, or stepfather for that matter, and he will do anything for Juni, no strings attached to help set her free. You can’t underestimate a deranged spouse and it will take both Callum and Juni to be vigilant at all times to stay safe.
If you have read the previous novels, you’ll be happy to know all the couples make cameos throughout this book with different team functions. They are a tight knit bunch who are so supportive and loyal of each other, look out anyone trying to harm someone in the group. I’m looking forward to see what’s up next, who's going to be dating who, and what that trope and storyline might be. I’m very intrigued.
