Loved Camden
Camden’s story is full of emotions, both the happy and angsty kind. As one of the notable surviving Lucky Three Camden is struggling to find his niche once more - on the team and in life in general. His rekindling friendship with a past teammate’s widow and son both assist and contradict his thoughts and feelings. Watching this relationship develop along with the ups and downs it brings is both heartfelt and painful. Go with your gut and follow your heart to find the happiness you seek.
Emotional and entertaining
I love the Pittsburgh Titans Series and I honestly think this series has got better with every book released and now we are book eight and it’s Camden Poe’s emotional journey. Camden is known as one of the “Lucky 3” because he was an original member of the Titans team that were lost when their plane crashed, only 3 didn’t make that flight, Aaron Shedlock and Savannah Peachwood do a wonderful job bringing the characters and their journey to life. They were spot on with all the emotions running through this story and their voices drew me in and captivated me. Camden thought he had moved on but really all he has done is bury his feelings and he needs to deal with the trauma from the past before he can move forward with the future. When he is pushed into a support group he reconnects with his best friend and former Titan’s member Mitch Brandt’s widow. Could Danica be the one to help him move forward….. This book touched me on so many levels, I felt every emotion as Danica and Camden go through all the guilt of taking their relationship to the next level. I adored the characters, I smiled at the banter and I shed some tears as I joined them on their journey but it was an adorable little boy named Travis who really captured my heart. You know you are reading something very special when the story and the characters stay with you long after reading or listening to the final word and Camden is that special.
Could not put it down!
Camden Poe’s book is another fantastic addition to the Pittsburgh Titans series! One of the lucky three that weren’t on the fateful plane crash, he struggles, which is completely understandable. The myriad of feels this story threw at me, coupled with the heartfelt and steamy moments, made this a book I just could not put down. It made me laugh as well as shed some tears. Danica lost her husband in the crash. Its been a year and with a son she needs to be emotionally and financially capable for, she has no choice but to forge ahead the best way she can. I loved her. Her strength, her tenacity and her willingness to try. Camden and Danica have been friends for a while, since reconnecting and being a sounding board for each other, is there potentially a happy future ahead for them? I really really loved this book. So much so, I would read it at any opportunity and stayed up late to finish it.
