While I shouldn’t be looking for anything more than a good time, I can’t help but be captivated by Stevie. She’s cool as hell and we burn hot together. But the more I get to know her, the more I can tell she’s holding something in reserve, and let’s just say I’ve got some trust issues after my last disastrous attempt at a relationship. Now I need to decide if I’m going to let my past dictate my future or if I am willing to put my heart on the line to find out if Stevie is exactly what I think she is—my everything.

A riveting must read!
Omg having just finished Hendrix’s story, I have to say this was one of my favourite books in the series. Hendrix is one of the lucky three men, who were not on the fateful plane crash…..
I cannot even to begin to describe how many emotions his story brought out of me. The heartfelt story, the way he meets Stevie and the way the storyline goes, made this a book I couldn’t put down. It was riveting as well as steamy!
I truly loved Stevie, this tough woman who owns a bar and with a biker Dad, she was really quite something.
These two both have some issues that need to be addressed and you can tell they really do go well together. However when Stevie struggles with something, not mentioning she needed help, what does Hendrix do?
I particularly loved his teammates camaraderie and support and really was very happy with how it ended. Definitely a must read and I cannot wait for more of the series to come.

Having read the previous books in this series, I knew Hendrix is one of the lucky three - only three of the original players, who didn’t make that fateful flight, who were lucky to survive. And I have been as interested in his story as I was Coen, in how he dealt with it all. The outcome and emotions were different to Coen because Hendrix had lost a family member in his teens, so he knew what it felt like, only this was so much bigger. It changed his life profoundly and had him wanting to settle more, and why he tried so hard with his current girlfriend. It’s funny that his friends and team mates could see it wasn’t going to work with her at all. But you have to give Hendrix credit, he stuck it out for as long as he could.
Then he meets Stevie, totally opposite to Tracy which is a blessing for that alone! Sparks fly, banter ensues and they hit it off from the first ten minutes. I loved the way they gelled so easily and made time to get to know each other by asking loads of questions. It’s hard to let the walls fall and be vulnerable but they did that straight away. Stevie herself has dealt with some low blows in life, mainly dealing with her mother, or as I like to call her, the biological witch. Stevie is a tough cookie, but she’s pushed to her outer limits with this woman. Even though the story was a bit predictable, I still wanted nothing more than an amazing HEA for these two. I’m glad things were dragged out and dramatized but concluded like mature adults.
There’s at least two more books in this series, and each seems to have me hooked before I even open the first page, I’m so invested with these guys.

Hendrix, book seven in the Pittsburgh Titans Series was a wonderful addition to what has quickly become one of my top series. Hendrix Bateman is known as one of the “Lucky 3”, he is an original member of the Titans but due to circumstances was not on the plane that crashed and killed all his teammates and those on board. The survivors guilt he feels has his life spiralling out of control; determined to make the most out of his life, living each day as though it could be his last.
He knows how lucky he is and is determined to settle down, working hard on his current relationship with Tracy, a woman the rest of the team know is not right for him. Meeting bar owner Stevie Kisner, the sparks fly and he is determined to prove himself both on and off the ice. What follows is an entertaining journey that pulled me in and had me hooked. Stevie and Tracy could not be more different. What I loved about Hendrix was his determination to do by right by Tracy, until he couldn’t.
Stevie’s life has not been easy (her mother is a real piece of works) and yet she knew when she met Hendrix that he could be her “forever”. I loved this book, the journey that Hendrix and Stevie travelled, wasn’t easy but it left me with a smile on my face. It was heart-warming to watch Hendrix take back control of his life. This book was everything I look for in a romance; there is passion, romance, banter and tension and it ticked all the boxes for me.
Narrated by Tor Thom and CJ Bloom who did a great job with their narration. They brought not only the characters but the story to life with their performances.
