Love this series and it keeps getting better. Silently hoping Maven will turn good.
A fun series
Definitely the epitome of YA fiction- enticing enough to distract you from the real world without making you think too much. Heavy on the angst and love triangles.
Slow
To begin with I found the pacing very slow. I believe this is due to the great detail the author goes to in describing things.
I have to be honest that this definitely made it harder to read for me specifically which is why I lost focused and was less engaged with the story as it went (others may enjoy that type of writing)
Besides that I enjoyed the action and Mare’s character development best. She is a badass that I would gladly go to war with and for.
