Good cosy mystery read
A fun read with some interesting characters in a world renowned and stunning setting.
Three and a half stars.
This book had a very slow beginning as the plot introduced the main character and attempted to give her some background. This slow start was rather tedious but once a victim finally appeared the mystery began to reveal itself with the actual crime identified not as murder but manslaughter. It was certainly no ‘Death on the Nile’ but a simple tale with an unprepossessing amateur sleuth.
European murder
Intrigued by the new series to which I was at first apprehensive as it wasn’t themed on FBI mysteries but after delving into the story I began to think differently and was impressed that the character were similar and a detective at heart. Looking forward to the next instalment.
