Publisher Description
There are a few things you should know about my brother’s roommate.
Wolfie Cox is . . . complicated. Terminally sexy, and more importantly, he has an impressive stick lodged so far up his ass, he’s about as emotionally available as a chinchilla. Actually, that might be an insult to the chinchilla community.
So, naturally, I want to ride him like a bicycle.
He thinks I hate him. Mostly because I’ve led him to believe this. It’s easier than admitting the alternative.
And while Wolfie is about as soft and cuddly as a fork, I’m the opposite. A good girl. Reliable. Conscientious. Oh, and completely panicked about an upcoming work conference.
Wolfie’s usually allergic to altruism, so when my brother volun-tells him to help me out by escorting me to said conference where everyone else will have a plus-one . . . I say thanks, but no thanks. Surprisingly, Wolfie is unflinching about this. And that’s the story about how I got stuck in a hotel with my brother’s hot (grouchy) roommate.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
In all seriousness, this isn’t a game to me, and hormones aside, I need to impress my boss this week so the promotion I’ve worked hard for doesn’t get handed to his spineless nephew. But with Wolfie and me sharing a hotel bed, things get confusing quickly.
This is book two in the Frisky Business series, but each book can be read as a complete standalone.

Enjoyable read
This was an enjoyable read. Past histories, circumstances and mutual interest all convene for an eventful matching, yet other issues highlight the differences. Long time friends and changing relationships make for a fun experience.
Entertaining
This is the second book in the Frisky Business Series and is Wolfie and Penelope’s story and is an entertaining read that ticked a lot of the boxes for me.
When Penelope needs a date for her company’s retreat, she has no intention of being the only one without a partner. When her brother volunteers his roommate to accompany her you just know that it is all about to happen.
Neither of them realize that this weekend will change everything. Complications arise hen they both realize that they are attracted to one another, but hat happens when lines are crossed? Will it ruin friendships?
The chemistry between Wolfie and Penelope is too hard to ignore, the banter between them funny and it was fun to watch as their relationship developed. This as a heart arming romantic read that I enjoyed.
Loved everything about this book
Book 2 in the Frisky Business Series and this is Wolfie and Penelope’s story and their tale is a great addition to the series of stand-alone’s. Penelope needs a date for her company’s retreat, everyone is bringing their partners and she doesn’t want to be the odd one out but the last thing she expects is for her brother to offer up his roommate to escort her on the trip. Wolfie is complicated and isn’t looking for love so being Penelope’s plus one for the weekend should be easy right....wrong....turns out spending time together has these two realising they have hidden feelings for each other but crossing the line could ruin so many things. Will they take a chance and risk friendships, guess you need to read the book to find that out. This couple are perfect together, they compliment and complete each other, his weaknesses are her strengths and vice versa , the chemistry is sizzling and the banter is witty but it’s watching these two grow and they get to really know other that takes this book to another level. I loved everything about this book and I highly recommend it.
