Neon Lights

William has spent a century watching the city light up gradually around him as he hunted, and rarely have the plays of bright colour on shaded streets failed to amuse him. It's not a bad occupation for a vampire all told, but a lonely one. Now the time is finally here for him to make the perfect partner, one who will dazzle their human prey like the brightest of lights even as she consumes them. His design for her has been a long time in the planning, which makes it a shame that he didn't stop to ask her opinion on it first.
