Publisher Description
I chose a championship over love.
When Nova smashed her way into my hardened heart, she showed me there's more to life than basketball.
She taught me patience and forgiveness. With her help, my Kodiak teammates became brothers instead of rivals. For the first time, I cared about more than a game.
But one mistake sent me crashing from all-star to rock bottom.
Broken inside and out, there's no one to blame but myself.
I won't let the people I love suffer for my mistakes, on or off the court. I'll win back the brothers who trusted me, the city that backed me, and the woman I don't want to live without.
Unless I'm too late.
I have one last shot. One last chance.
Countdown's on, and I'm playing for keeps.
Play Maker is the third book in the completed King of the Court series. Clay and Nova's steamy, addictive grumpy sunshine sports romance begins in Game Changer and continues in Shot Taker.

We waited for the Kodiaks to play their finals and now we’ve seen the perfect ending for Clay and Nova. Their relationship was never easy, but it was never harder then Clay choosing his basketball over the woman who changed his life.
This story is the continuation from Shot Taker, and the love story that could easily destroyed as it did created. Nova and Clay face many new crossroads and decisions, and a break mat have been exactly what they needed. It certainly wasn’t an easy ride but the Clova train was worth it.
I loved seeing Nova come into herself, not only as the girlfriend to Clay, but an incredibly talented artist, and the sister she was always meant to be to Mari…. This might seem out there but me favourite part, the crossover of some my favourite characters in Pipers stories.
If sports romance is your thing, then King of the courts is bound to be an epic win for you!
A wonderful finale to a truly wonderful trilogy!
I loved this book. Clay and Nova take a break from their relationship. It is when Nova leaves Los Angeles and returns to Denver that Clay realises the error of his ways. When Clay re-signs for the Kodiaks he starts to realise he needs to rebuild his life and his relationship with Nova.
I loved Clay, Nova, Coach, Brooke, Chloe and all their family and friends.
A wonderful finale to a truly wonderful trilogy!
I recommend this book to other readers!
