Publisher Description
A USA TODAY bestselling contemporary romance about the complexities of love and self-discovery in the early post-college years.
Mia Kelly thinks she has it all figured out. She’s an Ivy League graduate, a classically trained pianist, and the beloved daughter of a sensible mother and offbeat father. Yet Mia has been stalling since graduation, torn between putting her business degree to use and exploring music, her true love.
When her father unexpectedly dies, she decides to pick up the threads of his life while she figures out her own. Uprooting herself from Ann Arbor to New York City, Mia takes over her father’s café, a treasured neighborhood institution that plays host to undiscovered musicians and artists. She’s denied herself the thrilling and unpredictable life of a musician, but a chance encounter with Will, a sweet, gorgeous, and charming guitarist, offers her a glimpse of what could be. When Will becomes her friend and then her roommate, she does everything in her power to suppress her passions—for him, for music—but her father’s legacy slowly opens her heart to the possibility of something more.

Customer Reviews
Nice
A nice easy romance read. The characters were likeable. If I had anything bad to say it would be that the whole "I like him a lot but I'm going to pretend I don't, then get angry when he dates other people" scenario got a bit old. I really liked Will though he was awesome.
Sweet Read
Thoroughly enjoyed every word in this book.
Well written with characters that you want to know more about. Even though I knew what would happen in the end I enjoyed getting there.
Read it!
Sweet Thing. Sweetest favourite!
Im a music lover and musical purist. reading Renee Carlino's Sweet Thing was like listening to your all time favourite piece of music, savouring the last bite of your all time favourite dessert and seeing your all time biggest crush! Rich and warm, modern and sweet, stylish and cool, heartfelt and sensitive, one of the first romance novels I've ever read, i became addicted to the genre right after i read the first chapter. I do and i don't want this novel to turn into a film - id love to see the characters and hear the music from the pages, but i also think what my mind has created through Renee's words is pretty damn great! You WILL love this story.
