Publisher Description

"This 2025 book, 'The Human Condition', by biologist Jeremy Griffith is one of his three most important presentations on the human condition, serving as a powerful short-in-length bridge between the other two — his very short introduction in 'THE Interview' and his comprehensive presentation in 'FREEDOM'. It also takes his human-race-saving insights to a new depth of clarity — so it is a MUST READ!
It is not a big book but has everything in it. BAM, BAM, BAM, step by step, massive explanation after massive explanation. Before you know it you’re right at the bottom of the well looking in on the horror and reality of our prison of depression and anger, and you just know it’s true, it’s so obvious and clear.
And then it just keeps going, just keeps giving example after example of the problem, which all the time is coupled with the relief of the redeeming understanding of ourselves – and the freedom to leave all the madness behind now that humanity’s great battle is won.
This book is everything, it’s all undeniable, it just puts an end to the human condition forever, kills it stone dead – thank goodness!"

A Short Book with Profound Answers

Another astonishing book. If it wasn't clear what the human condition is before reading this, it certainly is afterwards. In just 150 pages, Jeremy Griffith takes the reader on an extraordinary journey into one of humanity's biggest questions. It's remarkable how much depth and insight is packed into such a concise book.

I loved the extended explanation of what actually caused the human condition. The biological explanation of the conflict between instinct and intellect makes so much sense and answered many of my questions about human life. Rather than simply describing the human condition, Jeremy explains its origin in a logical, step-by-step way and argues how it can ultimately be resolved.

If you've ever wondered why humans so often behave destructively, or felt that conventional psychology and philosophy never quite got to the root of the problem, this book offers a comprehensive framework to consider. It tackles the fundamental questions of human existence and presents a coherent explanation, along with a path toward resolving the underlying issues.

If you've been curious about griffiths larger books but weren't sure where to begin, then this is a fantastic read.

A Masterpiece That Changed MY LIFE!

If you want to read a masterpiece, this is it- by author Jeremy Griffith.

This is a nice in between bridging book from -‘The interview’ which is a short book and his definitive book FREEDOM -The End Of The Human Condition’.

In this book, Jeremy clearly explains what he argues is the root cause of the human condition: the conflict that emerged between our two learning systems—our intellect and our instincts. He presents these ideas in a way that I found both logical and easy to follow, despite the depth of the subject.

One passage that particularly resonated with me is:
“Once we understand why a conflict of these two systems happened we then can overcome our human condition problems as we no longer need to hold onto the guilt and shame“.

From my experience, this book is unlike anything else I’ve read. I especially appreciated the relatable examples and straightforward explanations, which made these complex ideas much more accessible.

If you’re interested in exploring Jeremy Griffith’s perspective on the human condition, I believe this book is an excellent place to start once you have read -The Interview.
I found this book to be such an insightful and highly worthwhile read.
