I am more then please ,going to number 26, and still loving it ,long live Reacher.
Disappointing
I love the Jack Reacher stories... but this is the first in the series that I was disappointed in.. a rather dull plot, not a lot of action or tension, I didn't get a 'feel' for the characters & found myself not really caring about them. I note this is the first of a few author collaborations, hopefully the next book will be back to a 5 star rating (for me anyway!)
The end of an era
It took me a while to get into this book. Read the first two chapters and put it down. Only to restart during my recent stay in hospital. Something is wrong with the new Reacher and I suspect it is Andrew Child’s writing. I have read all the reviews about 26 and 27 and they confirm my feelings. I won’t be buying them. Sad because I have read and enjoyed all the others. Lee you need to take back Jack Reacher and make him interesting and believable again.
