Two Lives
This analysis of grief by Josie Silver is complex in both plot and characterisation. The section which Lydia, the central character, calls two lives tends to be academic and puzzling in turn. Croatia marks a turning point, and Josie begins to grow and mature, allowing her to be open to another, adult life. And to be more human and rounded character.
Heartbreakingly Beautifully written
I couldn’t put it down it was so beautiful and heartfelt and real.
Loved it
I felt a deep connection to this book. I loved the characters, I felt the subtle messages. Beautifully written, it made me cry. Definitely recommend.
