Wild Ride is Dex O’Malley and Ashley Adam’s story and it was a good addition to the Rookie Rebels series. Dex is a player both on and off the ice and this time he has gotten himself into hot water that could see him kicked off the team.
He needs help to clean up his bad by image and he needs it fast. Suddenly he finds himself helping out at an animal shelter where Ashley is his boss. She is a no nonsense older woman but there is also something about her that calls to him.
Ashley is trying to get over a bad divorce and has no time for his bad boy behaviour and reputation. She is shocked when she realises that she is attracted to the younger man and even more shocked when she crosses a line she never thought she would.
The chemistry between these two was hot, the banter witty. What happens when what starts out as a fling suddenly becomes a whole lot more? One click and find out.
