Publisher Description
A groundbreaking novel about a transgender teen—selected as a National Book Award Finalist.
Regan's brother Liam can't stand the person he is during the day. Like the moon from whom Liam has chosen his female name, his true self, Luna, only reveals herself at night. In the secrecy of his basement bedroom, Liam transforms into the beautiful girl he longs to be, with help from his sister's clothes and makeup. Now, everything is about to change: Luna is preparing to emerge from her cocoon. But are Liam's family and friends ready to welcome Luna into their lives?
Compelling and thought-provoking, this is an unforgettable novel about a transgender teen's struggle for self-identity and acceptance.

A Touching Story
I really enjoyed reading LUNA. It often brought tears to my eyes. I was sorry when it ended. David Fisher, author of, WHO KILLED WHO? A LOVE STORY.

I love this book so much! I didn’t buy it on here but I got it at a bookstore two hours away, that’s how determined I was to read it. Recently I cam out to my family as a Homosexual, so when my TG girlfriend told me me about this book I had to get it. I was the first person she told about herself, and she was the first on I told about my sexuality. This book really helped me understand what she went through, she was always wearing my shoes, even cramming her feet into them when she outgrew me. Anyway, I’m going to wrap this up saying...
Best.
Book.
EVER!
It’s alright
Not a massive fan. The character is relatable but it doesn’t help when the book is a forced read and you disagree with the topic at hand. I understand teenage confusion and hormones but these are things that should be discussed as an adult. I still can’t believe schools require this in reading classes.
