Part of the best series I’ve ever read.
My Review
I personally have read all 5 books of the Fire & Ice series. Mr. Martin is a great writer, no doubt. However, the fifth book, being ok in its own right, really didn't do much. Like a game of chess, the writer moved many of the pieces on the board into position, or towards a good position, but little else. For a book that measured at over 1000 pages, this is disappointing to say the least. The ending, however does have me somewhat interested for the next book. I just hope he does more to move the story along.
Disappointing. Don't read this novel if you value your time.
3/4 of the book is about who's wearing what even though everyone's pretty much wearing the same thing with just different colours. Quality of the story is getting worse and worse with every book.
All and all nothing happened after 1000 pages of words except one or two plots.
Martin turned a good story into money milking piece of crap. Lord of the rings started and finished in 1500 pages but this series is almost nowhere after 5000. I never thought I'd regret reading this series until the this book.
