As the teens try to find a way off the island, Austin begins to realize his growing feelings for Kelly — but he believes she and Scott are a couple, and he refuses to act on anything that might hurt his best friend. 

Then they are attacked by a crazed criminal determined to leave no survivors. The teens must work together, and Austin steps up to lead the group and try to bring everyone home safely. 

The book raises the stakes from Book #1 by shifting the spotlight to Austin, adding a dangerous love triangle dynamic alongside the survival thriller plot, and deepening the bonds between all four core characters.
