Publisher Description
Two friends have disappeared playing Starfighter Training Academy. No one cares because it's just a game. Right?
I know something is wrong. Messed up. Completely off. And no one is paying attention.
My BFFs went missing after beating the hottest new multi-player game on the planet, Starfighter Training Academy. They won. They celebrated. They vanished. So what's the girl left behind supposed to do?
Beat the damn game, that's what. Find out the truth, even if that includes being recruited to fight in an alien war, lusting after the hottest alien I've ever seen, and marching into a battle there's little chance of winning.
I will find my friends. I will learn what the heck is going on. And I will kiss the alien hunk I've been staring at for weeks.
Watch me.
Customer Reviews
Great end to the trilogy!
I enjoyed this book and how the characters got to know each other. It was wonderful getting to know getting to know the final heroine Lily & her partner and see how they were able to help fight the Queen and her minions. I do hope we see more books in this series! I received a copy of this book from Booksprout in exchange for an honest review.
Intense, Both Romantically and Action-wise
Like Lily’s experience in this story, this book drops you right into the action and leaves you awash and in over your head (and loving it)! Reading the two other stories in this series isn’t crucial, but you miss out on the gradual entry into this world, which would make it challenging to get with the program. I really enjoyed the romantic conflict in this story; paired with the battle scenes made the story even more intense. And Grace Goodwin’s self-references to her Interstellar Brides series were very amusing. Another exciting and entertaining read.
Third instalment in the series
I liked this third instalment in the series. I loved Lily! She is my kind of gal - I always pack books first! She was shy and quiet but not when she was in warrior mode. In warrior mode, she was fierce and Darius had to accept that about her. Of course, there was some great action and as always, Ms. Goodwin draws the reader right into the heart of worlds she describes. I am hopeful that there will be more books to come in this series.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
