"Christopher Paolini is a true rarity." —The Washington Post

Not so very long ago, Eragon—Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider—was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders.

Long months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss. And still, the real battle lies ahead: they must defeat Galbatorix. There will be no second chances. The Rider and his dragon have come further than anyone dared to hope. But can they topple the evil king and restore justice to Alagaësia? And if so, at what cost?

Awesome ending!

Great Conclusion to an amazing series. Paolini has really developed as an author throughout the series, and this final part has been a great read. There are many surprises, expect the unexpected! Definitely worth getting if you haven't already.

Amazing

This is truly and honestly the best book I have ever read. I highly recommend it for readers who like adventure, suspense, laughter, fantasy, and a sprinkle of romance. It's worth it, peeps! 😄

good not AMAZING

I loved the whole Inheratance cycle but I was a little disapointed with this book. I was expecting this book to be AMAZING but it was just great. Parts of the book were amazing but it did drag on a little in the middle. I wan't a fan of the ending or who the green dragon egg hatches for. Overall this book was pretty good. If you enjoyed the other books in this series you will enjoy it aswell.
