The Steel Brothers only Sister
It was Marg’s turn. While I have every book these three did not quite make the pole vault into 5 star territory. More like 3.5. The story is well laid out in a foundation that started with Talon. A story so horrific, so devious that it had to be wielded by a great author. So what happened. It was promising...showed so many taboo subjects including Marg’s self harm while all the while having a doctor in the family ~ supporting and giving explanations so it all made sense. But the connection between evil was lost somewhere from the second to the third book. Why create an amazing climb with evil all around only to let them walk away... it made no sense. Neither did Colin’s father or the Cade guy who just folds and leaves. It was disappointing after everything the brothers went through it was not the culmination they deserved or earned. Marg was okay. Bryce was more attachable as a character. Talon really is the lynchpin for the series. Now there are 3 more about Bradford...not sure I can go backwards especially after the loss of what could have been an incredible thriller! Could have been so much more!! 3 stars is for this threesome. I went 4 because the series is worth reading and the brothers were hot, sexy, tortured and well depicted.
