Real Sexy

This story made my heart so happy! Boone and Ripley were the definition of "real" AND "sexy". It was the perfect blend of hot & dirty and sweet & sexy, sprinkled with some heartfelt feels and a little bit of intrigue. I was giddy with delight at the twist in the story revolving around Ripley, only to turn around and be punched in the feels with the next twist... and then ANOTHER! Not to mention a cameo appearance by Holly and Creighton! This is exactly why I keep coming back to Meghan March's books time after time. She always delivers a story that gives me a little bit of everything I want.

Meghan March has once again gifted us with a sassy spitfire of a heroine. They're my favorite! She's not the least bit impressed by Boone's celebrity status and gives him a little bit of a run for his money. Her past has been tainted by a tragedy that remains unsolved. She has a father and a cousin I'd like to mow down in a crosswalk, and a delightfully entertaining parrot with the mouth of a sailor. There are plenty of dynamic and interesting characters to get your emotional juices flowing!
Boone and Ripley soon discover that resisting the ravenous chemistry between them is futile (thank God for that), even as a train wreck of epic proportions unfolds around them. Side note: I LOVE how these two negotiate! Sexual favors are now a currency! Of course, since this is the first book in a duet, it wouldn't be complete without a jaw dropping cliffhanger to leave us wondering what the heck just happened?!

God damn I think Boone is my favourite March hero to date! FACK. He's such a good guy AND a dirty talker! I loved the banter and chemistry between Ripley. And don't get me going on their sexy time! Swear to god my kindle overheated! Another MUST READ from Meghan March!

As always you delivered an amazing book that was so powerful and emotional!! The scene when Boones family accepts her at the hospital!!! I balled my eyes out!!! Well done. Two thumbs up.
