Battleground: Love
Paige has been drugged with ambrosia and fallen through a fairy ring into Staria. First person she sees? Aidan, who believes she is his bride sent by the gods and claims her. I liked how this story differed from the others in this series - Paige is also from a ‘backward’ dimension, she doesn’t understand dimensional gates, she fits well in Staria technologically, but not culturally. A truly unique series and another great book.
Unexpected portal trip
This was an interesting story about travel via portal to another world where women are scarce within a patriarchal society. I enjoyed getting to know Paige and Aidan and the differences between their their worlds and experiences. I had to smile at their steamy initial encounters under mistaken premise and with the help of faerie magic. The interactions between this couple were not at all smooth despite their strong attraction. It is always sweet to see the details sort out for a HEA in the end.
