Great addition to the series!!
I absolutely love that warm feeling of returning to the Montgomery family. I couldn’t wait for Daisy to have her story. She is such a strong, caring member for Montgomery security team and the inner resilience to continue to always appear ok while healing from a traumatic job gone wrong was inspiring. Enter the alluring Hugh, who melted my heart. Lucy is so lucky to have an exceptional father like Hugh and it helps that she just the cutest. The bond Daisy builds from common heart ache with Lucy was beautiful. Despite a combustible first meet connection, these two take their time to let things simmer while they figure out how they all fit together. But when they do, it’s incredible. Never been disappointed by a Carrie Ann Ryan book and this is no exception.

Yeah!!! We finally get to read Daisy’s story!!! I first fell in love with her when she drops into the Montgomery world in Fallen Ink. Such a character then and even more now! Full of energy and determination, she doesn’t back down from anything or anyone. Always there for friends and family no matter what. Now it’s her turn to be the main character and you will not be disappointed. Don’t worry if you haven’t read her history, it’s all in here so you can read this and still follow along. I may have missed some sleep to read this one … didn’t want to put it down!
