Sweet love story !!
I loved the way Nicholas and Louisa fall in love.He needs a wife and heir , Louisa and her family have fallen on hard times , Nicholas is found almost unconscious at her doorstep she helps him recover and he is indebted to her, seeing that she is a tenant to the Marquess of Overlea , she needs help with her late father's debts and he has a plan . She's the perfect candidate for a wife. He gets his best friend to agree to father a child with his new wife , because he believes he has the same sickness as his late father and older brother until he realize that he was really loves his wife, will he
take a chance and believe that love conquers all . This was a really great story Suzanna Medeiros is a very talented author she really pulls you in to the characters lives beautifully written stories!!!

Predictable but not bad. Although it's unfortunate that one person didn't get their comeuppance 😜
The Mad Earl's Bride by Loretta Chase is a far superior story 🤓
