Great Addition to the series
I received an ARC of this book to read through Edelweiss+. All opinions are my own. My Last Duchess is a prequel novella to Eloisa Jame’s The Wildes of Lindow Castle series. Recently divorced Hugo Wilde, Duke of Lindow has come to London to seek a bride, one who won’t mind being mother to the eight children he already has. For him it’s love at first sight when he sees Ophelia, Lady Astley across a crowded ballroom, but the lady a recent widow is quite content with her life as it is and not about to take on a scandalous duke and his unruly brood. Lighthearted with a nice balance of angst and steam I enjoyed reading this book very much.
