Publisher Description
Born an empath, I have the power—and burden—of hearing thoughts and feeling emotions. Retreating from the world, my only refuge is an ancient tower, but my haven is shattered when an injured man arrives with a plea to save the kingdom.
Liam is the perfect knight, yet one attribute makes me hesitate. He is immune to my powers. His thoughts are a mystery, his heart an enigma. And while I fear the unknown, I cannot resist the desire to unravel his secrets.
For I am Aura, one of the adopted daughters of Lady Eville. I have joined Liam in his quest to destroy a magical blight that ushers in darkness and poisonous thorns. The closer I get to the source, the more I sense threads of destiny weaving a deadly cage, and at the end of the journey lies a fate worse than death.
Eternal slumber.

A great addition to a wonderful series.
I have really enjoyed this series so far and Of Thorn and Thread is no exception.
Aura is a daughter of Lady Eville, one of the six girls raised by the sorceress to exact revenge on each of the kingdoms that had wronged her. However, it’s never quite that straightforward when heroes and villains are interchangeable.
Aura is kidnapped by Liam, knight of the kingdom of Rya, in an attempt to bring a sorceress back to save his kingdom. Unfortunately for him, Aura’s power is as an empath and not exactly helpful against the blight they will face. However, knowing her powers will either leave her insane or living a solitary life soon enough, Aura is eager for the chance at adventure and to help this handsome knight.
For a book set in “fairytale time” there are some modern issues tackled within its pages. Some may find these things triggering and I would suggest reading the authors note first to be sure you know what you may come across.
