I had no idea the reality of “life” behind the video game

Having been around, but not in, the video game industry for 20 years I thought I had a reasonable, if second hand, understanding of what artists, creators and directors go through in their careers. I was wrong. Entirely and utterly wrong.

The book is a somewhat voyeuristic experience, planting you in a position to observe the mental, emotional, and physical ups and downs of the roller coast ride that is referred to as the Video Game Industry. Seeing a roller coaster is different than riding it.

Read the book, ride the roller coaster. Wow.
